Why PHIL GULF EDUCATION? A. Statement of Purpose The PHIL GULF EDUCATION (PGE) exists through a collaborative vision and mission of the Filipino Educators in the United Arab Emirates. It envisions the ethos of education that was significantly defined by John Dewey’s theory, “ The universal purpose of school is to convey knowledge and prepare young people to participate meaningfully in society.” That is why young Filipino and other nationality learners whose parents are working and living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates deserve to acquire such meaningful and quality education for them to be a part of the progressive community and well-versed enough to face the reality stages of life in this ever-changing and competitive world.
